Illustration Services

Scientific illustrations are drawn in such a way as to accurately and realistically depict the subject. ShellART has created scientifically accurate illustrations for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Escambia County Marine Resources, and other organizations. Whether it’s an invasive lionfish, a pacific anadromous salmon, or any fish in between Shelly can provide a scientifically accurate and artistically beautiful rendering. ShellART and Conservation

Shelly’s art has allowed her to engage and educate audiences that may have otherwise not been reached. She has been involved in varying degrees with many organizations to include Ocean Hour, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and America’s Salmon Forest. She has spoken on the role which art plays in activism and has created multimedia pieces of art out of marine debris to highlight the impact that pollution is having on our oceans and marine life. Shown above, is the most famous project, Cig the Sea Turtle, made from cigarettes which were picked off the beach by the good folks at Ocean Hour.
